TikTok LIVE Shopping Product Launch Video
OBJECTIVE
Going live on TikTok is an invaluable way to connect with audiences in an authentic way. During SXSW in 2022, we wanted to show marketers and brands the power of going live on TikTok, creative tips for live programming, and show them our LIVE Shopping offering, where brands can display their merchandise in a creative and engaging way and viewers can shop right in the live video. To get marketer’s attention during the session, the product marketing team wanted to create an entertaining and engaging way to immerse the audience in our live platform during the LIVE Shopping panel.
APPROACH
Working with the production studio, we created a video that emulated the feel of a LIVE Shopping event on the For You page. As the video goes on, the creator in the video breaks the fourth wall and addresses the audience, letting them know why LIVE can be a great tool to connect with audiences real-time. I worked as an art director on this project, storyboarding the video, working with the animator to make sure the product was reflected accurately, and assisted in planning the video shoot.
